Aurora Junior High Cheer Tryout Information
Aurora Junior High Boys Basketball Vs. Carver MS is scheduled for Thursday, February 10.The games will be played at the High School and start at 5:00 pm.
The schedule will start with two-quarters of 7th grade B and two-quarters of 8th Grade B. The 7th then 8th A Games will follow. Please come out to the Aurora High School to support the boys in the last home game of the season.
The Junior High Boys Basketball game scheduled for tonight, Friday, February 4, 2022 has been cancelled.
The Archery Tournament scheduled for Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Carthage has been cancelled.

The Aurora Chapter of National Jr. Honor Society will be hosting Red Ribbon Week beginning Monday, October 25th through Thursday, October 28. October is the official month for Bully Prevention, Suicide Prevention, and Red Ribbon Activities. This year students in the Jr. High NJHS chose to recognize each of each of these social issues.
Students are encouraged to participate in Red Ribbon activities by wearing the following colors:
Monday, October 25th- Bully Prevention. Students should wear the color BLUE.
Tuesday, October 26th- Mental Health Awareness- Students should wear the color .GREEN
Wednesday, October 27th- Unhealthy Addictions- Wear the color RED.
Thursday, October 28th- Suicide Prevention- Wear the color YELLOW.
REMINDER: Parent - Teacher Conference Tonight and Tomorrow (Oct. 18 & 19) 4:00-7:00 pm. The A-10 (Main Entrance Door) and the New Gym (North) Entrance door will be unlocked for parents to enter. A main table will be located in A-10 entrance. Parents will be able to pick up student schedules, MAP assessment, and Fall NWEA assessment results prior to visiting teacher classrooms for conferences. The Junior High will be hosting an opportunity to complete student registration on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, starting at 12:00.
